QBC Diagnostics manufactures a line of complete blood count analyzers and fluorescence microscopy products. Formed in 2005, the core technology of QBC Diagnostics hematology is Quantitative Buffy Coat (QBC) analysis: a patented technique in which a small sample of whole blood is placed into a capillary tube and centrifuged at high speed until all of the blood's components are separated according to their specific gravity.
